Sat., Sept 25	Fall Bus Trip Join us on our visit to see the Cleopatra Exhibit at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia on then to the Rodin Museum & Center. COST: $64.00 per person, includes all admissions, transportation and gratuity for the driver ITINERARY: 8:00 am - Meet in the Brick Walmart parking lot (near the Jack Martin Blvd. entance, not far from Wendy's). 10:00 am - Arrive at the Franklin Institute where we will have timed ticket admission into the "Cleopatra" exhibit for 10:15 am. Featured wil be more than 250 artifacts which were lost to the sea and the sand for nearly 2,000 years. Lunch will be on your own. The museum has a cafeteria called "Ben Bistro" and a snack bar in the atrium. 2:00 pm - Depart for the The Rodin Museum for a 2:30 pm guided tour. This museum features the largest collection of Rodin's works outside the city of Paris. 4:00 pm - Leave for home. 6:00 pm - Approximate arrival time in Brick contact gfr@bricktwphistoricalsociety.com
Sat., Oct 2	An Afternoon Tea Featured will be five courses, including scones, fresh fruit, party sandwiches, cake, cookies, lemonade and a variety of special teas. Musician Bonnie Leigh will play the mountain and hammered dulcimer and the harp, giving the history of the instruments, as well. Guests are welcomed to join her in the playing of the spoons. Cost is $20.00, and space is limited, so a reservation is required. Please call 732-458-7507 by September 26 for a reservation. Time: 2:00 - 4:00pm
Fri., Dec. 10 6 to 9 pm Sun., Dec. 12 noon to 4 pm	A Patriotic Christmas We sill have our annual Victorian Christmas celebration complete with costumes and our Victorian Santa (available for photo ops.) Visit our farmhouse for a trip back in time. See our tree decorated in red, white, & blue. Take home unusual historic recipes as well as a hand made ornament. Join us for a very unique time at the Homestead. Donations. $5.00 (Tickets will be available Sept 1.)
