Meetings are held the second Tuesday of Sept., Nov., Jan., March and June at 7:30 pm at the Herbertsville Firehouse, 601 Herbertsville Road, Brick. The parking lot is in the rear of the building, as is the entrance. The society operates the Havens Homestead Museum and the Lizzie Herbert House at 521 Herbertsville Road, and many of the society’s events are held there throughout the year. Our annual dinner is the second Tuesday in May. Our annual yard sale is usually the third Saturday in May, with the rain date being the following day. We sponsor a variety of day trips.

The Havens Homestead Museum is open for tours April through October on Saturdays from 10 am to noon, and on Sundays from noon to 2 pm, except for holiday weekends. In addition there are special (Christmas/holiday) tours in December. People are needed to assist in many different capacities during the tours and other events.
